From Internet Explorer, go to Tools-->Internet Options---> Advanced and scroll down to mulitmedia --->you might just want to click on "restore default" by click botom rt tab

If it's any consolation I don't see your buddy icon either - you may need to re-select it....

If you lose pictures, do you lose all pictures on a particular page, or just some?

First let me say that Outlook Express and Internet Explorer share a lot of the same settings.

From Internet Explorer goto > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Multimedia
Is the Show Picture Box Checked?

Have you installed the Toggle Images.exe Web accessory?
If so then right click on your tool bar and make sure that “Links” has a check next to it.

It could be a setting in a firewall or a cookie blocking program.

It could also be the Encoding set up is wrong.

Microsoft has an article all about
