reinstall of xp

Postby sunfire » Thu Sep 04, 2003 11:12 pm

I have had in the past a few encounters with mscache exe and nortons could not access or fix it. I deleted it and shortly after funny little anoyances happened. Many scanns with trojan hunters and viurs scans showed nothing. As i have use this to purchase items on the net i did not feel comfortable doing that anymore. I booted off the xp pro s1 disk and deleted the partition and repartitioned the drive and installed xp again. My question is would this delete any virus or trojan that might have been lurking on my cp without my knowledge. any help appreciated
