A couple of annoying XP problems

Postby PCBS » Wed Dec 08, 2004 2:10 am

Hi, new to the site. I'm having a couple of issues with a fresh load of XP. I installed XP Small Business and it created a language bar in place of my standard toolbar. Now I cannot view any active windows (IE..any instances of any active programs) Please help. it is very annoying.

Another issue. I installed an Epson C62 printer with the most current drivers. Everytime I go to print, I have to manually start the print spooler service even though it is set to "automatic" at start up at boot up. Any insight to this issue??

Thanks in advance!!!

You could try this for the language bar»
Go to control panel, open regional and language options, select the languages tab, click on the details button, under the settings tab click on the language button at the bottom, uncheck "show the language bar on the desktop". Hope this helps

Im still looking for a solution to the other problem.

For your print spooler problem do you get any kind of an error message? Have you tryed to uninstall and reinstall the printer?
