PAGEFILE ISSUE IN NT 4.0

Postby worcesternut » Thu Dec 09, 2004 6:09 pm

For some reason I cannot repair the issue with the pagefile in my system. I am running NT4 with 512 mb ram on an IBM Thinkcenter. I have tried deleting the file etc, to no avail. Each time I log back in it tells me the virtual pagefile is inappropriate and needs to be set.....help me plz.......... :(

Try a regisrty cleaner. Its probably that your registry still thinks there is that page on the computer and so it brings up an error. Thats all I can say, seeing as how im not an NT kinda guy. :D

Start > Control panel > System > Advanced Tab > Performance “Settings” button >
Advanced tab > Virtual Memory “Change” button
here is where you can set your page file size and location or chouse not to have one.
