internet settings for win XP

Postby Rondi » Tue Jan 04, 2005 7:40 am

have new pc with Windows XP. Everything on the monitor is too small, i can't see it! I went to control panel\display\advanced tab and enhanced dpi to 120,much better. while on internet the images, font, ect. is still to small how do i enlarge? Also... when i open a secondary window on internet....Okay I'll say it!
i go to pogo.com, open the game i want and when i push "play now" it only gives me small window; with no option to open to full size screen(the middle button on top right hand corner is shaded). I know it is possible to fix\ reset we did it on another pc...just can't remember how.

Hello there Rondi, and Welcome....

You can adjust the size of text in IE. Open IE, go in to the view menu, text size and there you can make text bigger or smaller.... It appears to change the size of the pics also....

If this wasn't what you were talking about, let us know, and someone will be able to help....

Also, on Pogo.com....the screen cannot be changed to full screen. The games are all in those little windows. That's why the Maximize button was shaded, because it's not Maximizable (is that a word? lol)

Another thing....a shortcut to change the font size if you have a mouse with a scroll wheel..

Hold down the Ctrl button and move the mouse wheel up or down to make the fonts larger or smaller :)
