Data Path Rights?
Hi,
I'm trying to help out at my wife's work, a medical office, where they have a small network of 3 computers running under Win XP SP2. The server is running a program called NDCMedisoft. It's used for all their billing, appointments, etc. The server's program was recently updated remotely (a small interval update, not a major version update) and ever since then the other machines have not been able to start their un-updated versions of the program. The program's splash screen shows momentarily and then a Windows error box pops up stating "You have no rights to this data path" and then lists the path to the server's data files. Is there a way to easily restore these rights on the other machines? The people who updated them are denying any blame for the problem and are providing no help whatsoever. I'm reasonably competent around Windows, but pitifully lacking in network skills.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
