Windows Messenger Popups

Postby Un4g1v3n » Sun Jan 15, 2006 10:03 am

About once every 3 minutes I get a popup from 'Windows Messenger' saying I need to get something to take away the spyware on my computer. However, all the websites require me to purchase something (the popups are spyware themselves, aren't they..) Has there been any official releases by Microsoft to stop this non sense?

I turned off the 'Messenger' service. I'm hoping this will be a good fix.

I think I'm going to get ZoneAlarm.
