Hello guys ,
If you could help me out with a general solution or idea on this one i would highly appriciate it. When playing WMA files randomley (seems to be completly random) on playback they will glitch , i know ive heard the sound it outputs before like a corrupted file where everytime it reaches a certain pont on a certain track it just grinding type noise... Neways my point is this time there is no specific spot or specific media file that does it. This person im helping out for free (and we all know how these projects can feel lol) had no infected files both on virus / spyware side of things so i would have to rule anything along those lines out... ive searched alll over for settings to change even in different applications that could be accessing the files just for kicks and giggles as im running into dead ends....

thanks for any help in advanced!!!

Hello there bud.
To me this sounds like a codec problem. Do you know much about codecs?

http://www.headbands.com/gspot/download.html

Download that program and run it, put the .avi file you are on about into that, and it will tell you the codecs. Then think wheather you have them or not, if not, try downloading them and installing then run the file again.

Post a reply.
