Boot/Crash Problems

Ok I've been having major problems of late. First I'll start with what happens. When I use to boot my pc it would take multiple times to get it to start. It would crash, reset, and so forth. Then only thing that seemed to work was resetting the bios everytime I shutdown my pc. I say shut down because when it would restart due to installations it would boot back up fine. I read somewhere it could be the battery so I replaced it. No luck, I set my bios to "load fail safe defaults. And now it loads sorta fine. It crashes still but instead of me reseting the bios everytime it just keeps tryin to restart windows. And it loads it eventually. Then when it does its kinda unstable. I play MMORPG's and it will just crash on me, run fine for a few hrs then crash, if it doesn't hang my system it crashes the game. then when I reload the game it hangs the system. I get alot of BSoD's I researched them and I get stuff like bad memory, IRQ is getting confused, and on and on. The errors are Driver_IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL; the drivers it gives me are the same 5-6 atisk.dll, ctaud2k.sys, ha10kysk.sys to name a few; also I get the same one without the driver part; BADSYSTEMCONFIG file; and the memory allways dumps.

SO.. lets get to what I have done, I have replaced the battery, moved my cards under my AGP slot, installed XP sp2, updated my soundcard drivers, display drivers (did clean install, removed regestry) also even rolled back the drivers no luck there either. I have lowered my memory timings on my vid card, made the ultimate bootcd and checked my memory. (its not bad and its cause its new, but the old memory did this too). Reinstalled windows on a new HD.

Any ideas of what else it could be?

Theres no solid answer for this problem but here is a site with extensive solutions that worked in different cases. I can forewarn you that alot of it points to usb mice however its generally different for different setups. You can try some of the things that worked for others and see which one works for you.

hap16v2k.sys is part of the Audiogy 2 driver set
I would try uninstalling your Audiogy 2 from the device manager
Shut down the system and remove the Audiogy 2 card boot up and see if you still get the error.
I have seen sound cards do some strange things, one system would not boot at all no post nothing,
I remover the sound card and the system booted just fine with no errors.

The power supply could be the problem. I've had them bad right out of the box. Also you might want to check the motherboard for leaking or pushed over capacitors. Gently touch the top of the capacitors and see if any give any rocking motion. Treat each like a very sore tooth. They should be firm to the touch.
