Windows Media Player

Postby 7squadron » Sat Feb 25, 2006 2:40 pm

Until recently I have been able to save movie clips playing on Media Player by clicking File then Save as which saved the playing file as a wmv.
I am no longer able to do this.
When I try to save a playing file as above the save as command takes me to the Save as webpage "box" and the playing file is saved as an HTML file. I have tried manually adding the file extension .wmv but this does not work.
I have noticed that now when I click File, Media Player (with movie playing) slips behind the previous screen.
Any ideas as to how I can solve this guy's?

Try this

Click on My Computer

Cllick on Tools and scroll down to Folder Options

Click on file types and wait for it to load.

Scroll down to wma and select that one.

It needs to be set to Windows Media player--I think that you'll find that its set to something else.

So hit change and select the right one.

hope this helps
