I am having a problem getting my other computer to connect to my network. I have a Linksys Wireless B adapter connected to the computer. It detects my network, and after I input my WEP key it connects, but I cannot get onto the internet. I tried ipconfig /release and /renew via the command prompt, and I am getting an IP address, but it says it cannot connect to the DCHP server, and I have no DNS address. I am able to connect when I run a long ethernet cable through the kitchen to the computer, but we don't want the cable running through the middle of the kitchen. I was able to connect with this wireless adapter on a third computer, so I don't see why it's not working on the second computer. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I also cannot disable the wireless adapter. I am getting this error message: It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. This connection may be using one or more protocols that do not support plug-and-play, or it may have been initiated by another user or the system account.
I have only one account on the machine, the main account with full admin, and I have no default gateway address on the connection.
