Posted: Wed May 10, 2006 11:48 pm So what does happen if you don't Activate Windows XP by the 30 Day Period?Posted: Thu May 11, 2006 6:01 amyour computer will boot but not to a desktop. it will boot to a screen with the option to activate windows or change the cd key. you wont get a desktop without doing one or the other.
