Ok i got a friend who has a load of music and he burnt it all to nero via ISO DVD and its renamed to to LINKIN_PA only allowing 9 charectors .. any way to retrieve the actual name wivout spending half hour renaming them all ??

You need to go back to the guy that burned the DVD and have him go into Nero and make sure that Joliet and/orISO9660 is checked. This allows file names up to 64 characters. Then have him reburn the music and you should be good to go.
