CONFUSED HELP!!!!!!!

I wonder if ne body can help me it appears my my screen has gone to the left and moved half my desktop bits out of site and brought a big grey bar down left hand side of screen with folder tasks,other places,and tasks does ne one know wots gone wrong and how to get rid of it ne help appreciated thx

Do you mean in windows explorer? If so, you can change that bar by going to view -> explorer bar & selecting somewthing else (eg 'folders'). Alternatively you can get rid of it by going to tools -> folder options & selecting 'windows classic folders'.
