Problems updating java to Version 6 Update 7(solved)

Postby batrico » Tue Jul 22, 2008 6:04 pm

Ive tried to do this about 5 times.when i try update automatically or manual install the installation freezes at extracting installer part and i have to stop the process.I tried deleting earlier updates but this didnt do any help.I saw another thread by a different person about this problem on another website but its unanswered so am trying to get help here.

one thing the filesize is supposed to be 7.1 mg but it only dloads 375kb but says thats fine.

can you guys help me?

solution: the problem was comodo memory firewall was causing a conflict with the update.I uninstalled it and then java updated fine.
