Integrating wireless network into wired network

At work we have a wired network (ethernet) with a network drive on one of the desktops. My boss just got a new laptop and wanted me to install a wireless network in addition to our wired network. I set up the wireless and have internet access, but I can't seem to access our network drive.
I have the router plugged into my ethernet jack in the wall (which is where I would normally have my pc plugged into for our wired network).
I imagine that it's a very simple step that I'm missing. Any ideas?

Is the laptop in the same workgroup as the network drive?

I've experienced something similar before. I had a terrible router that assigned different internal IPs to the computers connected. when I manually entered IPs so they were all eg 192.168.1.### then I was able to see the shared folders etc again.

I tried making them all have the same workgroup. It didn't help.

Did you just add a wireless router?
If so then most likely you are getting conflicting ip addresses from the two routers.
You will need to turn of assigning of IP in the wireless router, that way the wired router will be assigning all the IPs.

I already figured it out, thank you. As you mention, I had to turn off DHCP on the wireless router. Thanks for your help.
