Lost Partition On Vista

Hi,

I currently have 2 hard drives ... one has C: and E: and the second has Disk 1 and Disk 2.
I downloaded partition magic 8.0 tonight and was going to merge the Disk 1 and Disk 2 partitions to make one big partition. As i loaded up PM 8 it gave me the old "may be unconpatible" messege, me being me i ignored it and carried on loading it up. It then gave me a messege saying there were errors on "disk1" and gave me a fix option which i took thinking it was Disk 1 off the second hard drive...which it wasn't.I have now lost my partition from my main hard drive which also has my recovery program on it.

Any chance of getting this partition back as it doesnt even show up in my computer anymore? it seems a waste for 100gb to sit around doing nothing.

Any help would be GREAT and much appreciated.
