Cannot access Google sites or Gmail. (solved)

edit: I did a boot scan using avast and it found three problems , deleted them and now everthings back working again.




Hi its been a while since i posted here, not had many problems.Tonight i loaded up firefox and instead of google.ie which the page normally opens on it opened on "http://www.ask.com/web?l=dir&o=101754&qsrc=2870&gct=dns&gc=1&q=www.google-analytics.com also in the search engine it has http://www.google-analytics.com.The search engine itself wont load any other page.
My bookmarks other than google still work as you can see by me typing on this forum.Also i cannot access Gmail on thunderbird.

Im using vista home premiun with 1gb of ram.

I am unning avast virus check as i type an it hasnt found any virus yet.
By the way it also happens in internet explorer.
