Some vid cards have overclocking apps like Radeon,they have an app called radclocker or rage3d.....
This app will tell you your card speed and memory.
Just don't overclock.....

I would stay with the same RAM brand just because that is the thing to do. I have see it done where people use different kinds of RAM and it works. Just make sure that the numbers match. (PC2100 etc.)
