Power/Mobo Problem??

Hello, I'm new to the forum and I figured I'd get off to a roaring start by begging for help ;)
My PC won't power on at all.
Here's what happened: I took my secondary HD to a different computer to copy some files, then hooked it back up along with a case fan, which I decided to install to cool my drives. When I hooked my computer back up and pressed the power button, all that happened was a slight clicking noise while I was holding the button down. The noise seems to be coming from the center of the case, perhaps from where the PS connects to the Mobo. I should also mention that I had to put some stress on the power wires in order to hook my drive back up, because I have 3 HDs.

Anyone have this problem before or have any idea what could be causing this?

EDIT: I should also mention that I have already tried unhooking all of my drives from the power supply.

first thing i should mention is if your power supply overloaded, it probably threw it's internal breaker. The breaker can be re-set by completely unplugging the power from unit for a good 30 seconds.

If that doesn't work your psu may have gone belly up, or you might have fried something else?

Did you get smoke?

No smoke, no fuss. I have had it unhooked from the wall for quite some time, and it doesn't work when plugged back in. There's just a slight clicking noise when the button is depressed. I'm kind of hoping that it's the PSU, as opposed to the MOBO, where the sound seems to be coming from. I took it to a computer store (UGH!), because I've just got too much other stuff to do with school starting next week (I just transferred, so I need to move to a different province) and stuff so I just didn't have the time to dick around with it any more.

It's possible that it could be the power supply, but I'm not so sure about that, since the only thing that's changed it that I added one 80mm fan. Previous to this, I have had no power problems whatsoever to indicate that I was pushing the limit.
