ASUS A7N8X+Audidgy 2= The Ultimate Annoyence

Hey!

I have wayded through probs and finally I have been haulted by the 'ASUS A7N8X+Audidgy 2= The Ultimate annoyence' equasion.

Is there some kind of compatablity issue here?

With the sound-card in, the machine doesn't work, with it out, it works!

I have installed ALL the drivers for the card and have disabled the on board nVidia sound chip... what can I do?

When I try to boot the system the Windows XP splash screen goes dark and the comp freezes, there is no more detail i really can give...
