Noisy Hard disk

Postby matt-the-wig » Sat Jan 01, 2005 9:23 am

Hi all,

quick poser,

My C drive has recently started making a funny noise,( the only way i can explain is that is sounds kindda like a 3 1/2" floppy being accessed) while trying to access data, it doesn't happen all the time, but is starting to concern me, i'm sure i'm heading for a failure of some kind.

I have moved most of my files, games/docs/music tc to my 2nd hard drive, but is there anyway i can move XP to the second drive and have it boot from there?

my c: is 20G ans my second drive F: is 120G
