PCMCIA to USB

Postby Kraigy » Mon Oct 27, 2003 7:29 pm

Hello, I've a 6 year old laptop (Toshiba tecra 740) with a 16bit PCMCIA. I want a card/adaptor to give me USB but the ones I've seen all need 32bit support. Anyone know of one compatible with my system or any other ideas?

If your laptop has a 16 bit PCMCIA, you can't. If it has a 16 bit CardBus (CB) there's a chance. Most all I've read points to the 740's 16 bit PCMCIA. You can always network it to your desktop and run USB from there............ brad
