Is there any relation between Mobo Chipset and the AGP Card vendor?
I mean can ATI AGP card be fitted on a mobo based on nvidia chipset?
Thanks…

With motherboards, I would stick with Intel, VIA, AMD, Sis and Ali chipsets, . Nvidia and Ati are tops for video card chips.

Vendors make motherboards and cards using chipsets. It doesn't necessarily mean you have a good anything just from the chip. Pick a good vendor--some make their own chips like Intel

A good quality board and a good video card should be compatible.
