Postby bigwes » Sat Aug 20, 2005 5:54 pm

i got this message on my moms computer

"Virtual Memory Minimum Too Low
Windows will try to increase the size of the virtual memory paging file."

im not sure what this means but its the same computer that ive been having problems with shutting down with no warning, now i think the rebooting was caused by the ram problem. i hope someone can give me something because im about ready to shoot it . thanks

Got to and download the floppy version or the ISO version, extract to floppy or burn to CD.
Boot from your medium of choice and let Memtest86 run at least 2 hours.
If there are any failures then it’s the ram.

It could also be an overheating issue. Check your CPU and PS fans.

I would scan for a virus just to be safe.
