Distortion

Postby Tank » Wed Sep 14, 2005 11:29 pm

Hey everyone. Ok I can't seem to figure out how to filter out the Bass from my satelite speakers and let the sub handle it.

Here is what I have

SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS Soundcard
Logitech Z-5500 Digital speaker system

When I play music with bass, I get a little bit of distortion in my satellite speakers, it only really happens when its low frequency's. I want to seperate it so the sub handles those and the satellites only handle like 80 or 90 and up. Anyone know how? Thanks.

Make sure that your windows sound is set to either 4 or 5 speakers and not desktop.

After that you should have a Bass Management option under Control Panel and Sounds and Audio Devices.
