Connecting PSU

Postby Jas0n » Thu Sep 07, 2006 12:24 pm

Hey guys, another question....again..LOL

Items:
Antec 500w SmartPower
Gigabyte K8N Pro SLi

righto, the mobo has a slot where i connect the 24pin thinghy in. Now with an older PSU there would be a 20pin cord and another 4 pin cord. so they go into diffplaces on the mobo. Thing is, on the GA mobo, i got the 24pin in wher it should be, but theres another 4pin hole left vacant and the PSU has a 4pin connector to go into that. Now would it be wise to connect that in to?
