ram from newegg being bad twice need help/opinions

Acording to you have a Asus P4SD-LA (stingray) motherboard.

I can see in their picture that you have two blue and two black dimm sockets.
If you are using two sticks of ram they both have to be in the blue or black slot you cannot mix them.

It could also be that your motherboard only support single sided ram and you are trying to use double sided ram.
The problem is Asus does not list that motherboard model number on their site.
And Compaq's site doesn't give single or double sided information either.
