How to Repartition an External Hard Drive

Hello -

I need to know how to initialize and repartion a Fantom external hard drive.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Hello fmv503 and welcome to our forums

Assuming you are running windows XP:
With your system powered off, connect and power up the external drive then start you system.
Go to Start > Control panel > Administrative tools > Computer management >
Now on the left side select Disk management on the right side right click your external drive and select create primary partition.
Once that has finished right click your external drive and select format.
Once that has finished right click your external drive and select make partition active.
