New case cables

New case cables Dont fit my board is this normal sometimes and do I need to buy a more advanced mobo?

The usb cables dont fit right on my usb headers, the power led cable is too big for my system header, makes it impossible to attach it, no hdd lights come on either, with different coloured wires and no indication which is grnd I have had to attach them blind and guessing.

That's a poorly designed case.
When I've built PCs I've found those cables can usually reach anywhere on the mobo.

If they really are that short, not in a cable tie or anything like normal in a new case, return the case to the shop.
