Logitech clearchat issue.

Hey guys i have been using my Logitech clearchat headset for over a year now and it's been working fine for the first few months but one day the microphone on the headset would make loud static noises for no reason. The sound in the speakers worked perfect without any issues and i figured out of i bent the wire the static would go away. Now this method has worked for a few months up until recently when out of the blue it just decided not to work at all no sound would get recorded from the microphone. Still the speakers worked perfect and if i put on some music it would record the sound of the music from the speakers but not record any sound from the mic. I don't know what else to do i can't replace this one anymore so it's either fix it or waste money on yet another logitech device.

The one thing i fear is if i open it up i will break it and not even be able to use it to listen to music.

Nothing i have to say here will be what you want to hear lol. Is sounds as though the wire finally broke completely in two. Your likely right about taking it apart too, those things tend to be fairly tedious. I hope you enjoy your new headset, pretty sure theres one in your immediate future.

heh yeah i assumed it was hopeless thanks for the reply anyway. Looks like i gotta waste more money on a headset.
