Equivalent question corrected.....srry bout that

Postby xsv_hyperthreadin » Thu Feb 26, 2004 1:30 am

:look: Oh gee my bad... Srry bout that. Okay what about this: If I had an AMD Athlon XP 1500 Proc, is that at least better than the requirements of a Pent III / 800mhz processor? Just looking for a good "base" starting point better then needed. I know more of the 3000 AMD series; very, very little about the dinosaur era. Also not very good with the Mhz and memory feilds of pcs. Ty for looking! Xsv

Athlon XP 1500 runs at 1.33ghz....it will run circles around a pentium 800mhz.

Processor Name..... Actual Clock Speed
Athlon XP 1500+.... 1.33GHz
Athlon XP 1600+.... 1.4GHz
Athlon XP 1700+.... 1.47GHz
Athlon XP 1800+.... 1.53GHz
Athlon XP 1900+.... 1.6GHz
Athlon XP 2000+.... 1.66GHZ

and so on....
