Need some unusual PC specs

Postby mrlew02 » Tue Sep 27, 2011 10:26 pm

Brand related - Seneca
Model - 3000 series - Mini -X3 - Combined with Nexlink.
Windows XP Professional

Problem is power to my knowledge. I dont believe I am sporting the correct power source. It is a powerful machine "Have upgraded it to the max of my resources" However everytime I fire up a game it reboots itself 30 seconds in exactly. Every game I have tried the PC exceeds the recommended specifications but to no avail it reboots 30 seconds in. I have updated all current software to my knowledge

I am currently @ work and do not have access to the Pc itself. "Hence needing the specs so I can grab the correct power source out of the shop before heading home" If someone is bored I would extremely appreciate the research and help.

Please note that the original power source to this PC is missing so I would love an opinion on an equivilent power source. UNLESS of course...its not the power. :) Currently I have a 12v 3.0 amp output plugged into the PC.

Thank you very much in advance my fellow techs :)

Edit:::::I have tried looking for the specs online. The only one close I can find is the Mini - X4 which is not the correct model. Just wanted to throw that in so I wouldnt get classified as LAZY :)

Hi Mrlew

I would suspect the memory. Remove half and see if the problem reoccurs. If so, swap the removed memory with that in the system.
