Laptop keyboard issue

Postby kevinrs82 » Sun May 22, 2011 12:47 am

Toshiba Satellite A105

So my brother in law took my laptop apart and put it back together, it works perfect except for the keyboard is doing some weird things, I press "C" and it types "CD" I press D and it types"CD" I press some other keys and it doubles it up with the number near it or a incorrect key. I replaced the keyboard with a new one and it is doing the same thing.

Any suggestions?

All i can think of is to inspect the connection where the ribbon cable meets the motherboard, its easy to damage the clip that holds the cable in place during removal.

hey there , if you cant figure anything out you may just need to change the keyboard. You can go to www.laptopkeyboard.com that's where i bought my keyboard from few weeks ago. They have great service and installing guides that makes it easy to fix.
