PC-Based DVD/CD Lightscribe Duplicator

I am trying to build a win7 pc-based lightscribe cd duplicator w/ 10-20 drives.

Is it possible for me to use 2 of these port multipliers to connect 10 sata lightscribe burners to my pc.

I plan to use Nero's Miltiple Recorder platform.
If I were to do this, would it slow down the burn time compared to using only a single drive?

It is to my understanding that a stand-alone dvd duplicator can burn to for example 1-10 at the same speed as it could 1-1.

I would prefer to duplicate directly from my pc as opposed to a stand-alone duplicator.

it should work but i would expect some slowdowns. The difference is stand alones are running dedicated soft and hardware so its never going to get distracted. A PC obviously has a ton of things going on at once thats relying on ram and hdd. Its capable of doing it but maybe not quite as fast and you stand a chance of random burn errors.
