PS2 USB converter help needed...please

This is my last shot...since the tech help from Lik Sang sucks!

I bought a Boom PSX and N64 USB converter for my PC so I can use a PS2 controller. I plugged in the adapter into a USB port and the cpu recognized the new hardware. It then installed the drivers (it never asked for the drivers on the floppy that came with the adapter).

Anyway, I now have a new choice of gamepad in my control panel/gamepad section.

Now the problem is that the PS2 gamepad is not working. I have tried to configure it in the control panel/gamepad area but no buttons work. The D pad is not even recognized.

I have contacted tech help from Lik Sang and they are useless. They now want to me spend my money and send the damn thing back to them so they can see if its defective. Unreal!

Anyway, I was hoping someone on this forum (and I have tried many others) can give me some specific instructs on how to get these things to work.

All I want to do is be able to play the new Madden and NHL using a PS2 gamepad with the dual sticks.

FYI, I am running a P4, 512 megs, 9700 Pro card, and WinME.

Please help....before I ship this piece of crap back to Japan!

If it's just using the default drivers, this may be your problem - have you tried installing the drivers from the floppy disk that came with it?
