Alienware GPU question (help appreciated!)

Postby cryfreedom66 » Tue Mar 30, 2010 2:21 am

Hey everyone,

I just ordered an Aurora from Alienware. The gpu that comes with it is a Single 1.8GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260. I have also ordered a Radeon 5850 from a seperate site.

My question is can I use these 2 GPUs together or do I have to choose one and sell the other. Is there any benefits to using both? Is it even possible?

Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The GTX260 is nVidia.
The 5850 is ATI.

They will not work together, no way it can be done.

The 5850 is the better card.
You should be able to get some good money for the GTX260.
