Wont start up with rotating screen...

All of a sudden my PC started freezing... Now after the last freeze it now simply rotates from the start up screen (where it does the memory test) then to the screen that says that windows did not start properly and to choose how I want to start windows (but it will not allow me to select as in this mode it is not reading my key board). Once it counts down to "0" it switches to the Windows splash screen with the animated rotating load bar below it... Then it resets/restarts gives the "No Signal" logo and then back to the start up screen (where the memory test is done)... Then back around again...

Any ideas? I've never seen this one before...

Some system info... Its a machine that a pal and I build about 5 years or so ago, its got a Asus socket A mother board an AMD 2600+, 2 gigs of memory and a 120gb HD. About 6-7 months ago I had to replace the MB and its been running great since...

When PC startup, please press delete key to the Bios(or any other Function key to see the Bios menu). Then select the "halt on errors except keyboard", save and exit.

Then press F8 key when exit Bios and the computer restarts, we will see the boot menu, select the Last Known Good Configuration and kit enter(do not run the option safe mode unless the Last Known Good Configuration does not work).

This will load the last working hardware profile.

Of course, unseat the CPU RAM and HDD data cable may help as well.

Hope this helps!
