Driver Installation Failed 1603
Posted: Wed Nov 02, 2011 4:05 amI'm trying to install drivers for a verizon novatel 4G LTE USB551L modem and im getting an error ( driver installation failed 1603 ) then it tries to install the VZAccess software and I get the error ( 2738 could not access VBScript Run time for custom action )
so this is what Ive tried so far: installing from the CD
installing from downloaded drivers
installing from the device manager update driver option
installing in (run as admin)
installing in safe mode
installing in the diagnostic mode through reg edit
and all of this has failed
im connected to the net right now through an Ethernet cable
the computer that im using is an emachine
the model number is (emachinesw5233)
with vista sp2.
so any help would be greatly appreciated.
