Upgrade Gpu Card or Build new rig?

I've started taking Gaming very seriously recently, and I'm looking to either upgrade my current setup or I'm thinking about building a completely new one.
But I'm lost as to what I should do, taking a look at my current system specs, do you think its a good enough system if I simply upgrade the GPU or shall I look at building a complete new rig from scratch?
I'm wanting to look at playing Mechwarrior Online and Arma3 with as much FPS as possible.
My current System Specs are...
System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
System Model: h8-1070uk
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GT 545
PSU: 600w
HDD: 1TB
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
If you think I should build a new PC from scratch, my Budget is £600-£800
And help on a build would be appreciated also.
