My pc has been shutting off randomly for 2 weeks now. Before I was getting the BSOD, and after reloading windows 7 for the 4th time that stopped. Its not an overheating issue, cause I just cleaned it out completely and all the fans are working properly. I have searched online and it seems to point to psu or hdd. Ran checks on hdd and they check good with no errors. I was wanting to know if there is a way to isolate the problem for sure with out swaping components since I have no extras and dont want to just go out by them. Any help would be appreciated.

Try reseat the parts like CPU, RAM, VGA card, Mobo CMOS battery...etc.
Testing the PSU by using a PSU tester or using the other known good PSU.
Hope this helps.

I would also like to suggest that we disable all startup apps.
If there is a safe mode to run, try that, could be the driver or devices resource conflict.
Maybe install the latest mobo chipset driver and reboot the computer once for the new chipset driver to take effect.
hope this helps.
