Floppy Drive

Hey, I read about a similar problem awhile back on these forums, but it doesn't appear as it was solved.

I'm having the problem where my A drive does NOT READ ANY DISKS, AT ALL, PERIOD.

Instead, it will say, "Please insert a disk into drive A" every time I attempt to read a disk.

Floppy drive is fine in system devices...appears to be working properly. Yet I get this error. Please help!

Does the Drive's light come on when you insert a disk?
Try removing it in Device Manager / Reboot and see if Windows reinstalls it correctly.

Yes, the light does come on.

I will attempt to reinstall thru device manager.

Edit: Apparently this seems to work. Lol.
