monitor on the fritz
Posted: Wed May 12, 2004 4:46 pmWhen I turn on my pc (compaq p4 running xp) the monitor displays a picture for a half second then goes black. If I turn the monitor off and on again, it does the same thing...any suggestions

Posted: Thu Jun 03, 2004 2:22 pmsorry all...I haven't been on in awhile...thanks for all the responses. Its actually a Nokia 19" and no longer under warranty. I tested the pc on a spare monitor and it works fine so its not the pc. I'm going to try a repair shop next. Again thanks for all the help. This is a great site.
