HI all,

I just bought myself a new MB with SATA. I picked up a 120gig drive and was siked!!!

I have a problem however. Windows XP needs drivers for the SATA to install. I read the manual and followed the instructions MSI gave for creating the driver disk for the SATA. However the disk doesn't work, or WindowsXP doesn't recognize it.

I have tried downloading updated drivers from VIA with no luck either.

Can anyone guuide me here as what to do?

Is it detected in the BIOS?

In the bios I don't see anything for SATA? However when it boots prior to launching Windows Setup I see the drive detected.

Got it figured out. I swapped the floppy drive. Not sure what was the matter but the board didn't like the drive or something...
