Hey ive recently bought a usb 2.0 pci card, when i put it in my computer and boot it up, it loads the little xp yellow box bottom right saying found new hardware, and looks like any other pci device thats being installed. then my hole pc just freeze's the mouse and everything and i need to turn it off and back on, Any1 know whats wrong ?

You may be getting an IRQ conflict

Try disabling all the motherboard resources that you are not using; e.g., serial and extra usb ports. This may free up an IRQ for you.

What are your system specs,CPU,PSU,OS ...etc....?
