Rebooting system when burning discs...
Hi,
I've just replaced my old philips CDRW with a fater Liteon drive. I'm running win98 and the drive came packaged with Nero. I'm having trouble burning disks in that the system either hangs or reboots during a write, or even just doing a simulation. I can read data from the disk fine. Can anyone suggest where I might start looking to solve the problem?
I originally thought there may have been a power issue, but I upgraded the power supply recently to cope with the kit in the system. The drive is configured 2nd master with a DVD as slave. I have 2HDDs on the primary channel - this is down to cable length more than anything else :-) The system's running win98 on an Athlon with Abit mb.
Any suggestions or advice greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
Rai.
