Wich part(s) of my computer can be damaged by overclocking the CPU?
Only the CPU itself or the mainboard too?

Thanks

it depends on the type of overclocking you do...

with multiplier clocking (highly inefficient and sometimes difficult to do) you are unlikeyl to blow anything other than your CPU..

with FSB clocking (which is MUCH more effective AND much easier to do.) you could theoretically damage any component inside your PC.. CPU, Mainboard, Memory, Video Card.. etc..

basically.. when you overclock.. you are pushing the components past their specified limits.. some may perform better than others.. and be more stable.. som emay be more robust.. but every component is at increased risk if you overclock the FSB.
