Then I added the CPU,HeatSink and Fan...
Due to the high cost of these chips at the moment I went with the 3200+ until there's a drop in price....

SPECS
• AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Processor
• AMD64 Technology for High Perforance 32-Bit and 64-Bit
• Hyper Transport Technology
• Integrated DDR Memory Controller

For now I installed a 40GB Samsung 7200RPM HDD
I'll upgrade to a 120GB IDE HDD and SATA drives later...
Can't sink to much $$$ into this all at once...

I also installed new Floppy drive as well as a 16x DVD Player.

Hardware still to be installed:

• PC3200 DDR400 Memory
• Lite-On 8x DVD-RW SOHW-812S
• Video Card----???????
• Sound Card---???????
• Smart Card Reader

So as you can see I'm not ready for Power-up yet but would like alittle input on the Video Card.
I'd like to stay with the nVidia architecture, but am open minded.
If you think it'll perform then let's hear it...I'll certainly check it out.
$300.00 or less...that's my limit on the Vid Card...

I've had ALOT of input and help from some special people from this Forum,ALL greatly appreciated...

I do have a few more pics to post but need to re-size them first... :|

In the mean time...any suggestions on a Video Card??

Hehe ...thx Geekgirl...thought I heard ringing in my ears last nite..lol!!

Yes I have been looking at XFX GeForce 5700LE---CAD$$$=200.00

I also was looking at the...

XFX GeForce 5750,5800,5900 and the 6800...alittle pricer than what I wanted to spend, but I might be able to get an advance on my allowance if I'm a good boy.... :)

Almost forgot...
I don't really know too much about DDR memory so with this info:

Main Memory

• Supports 3 slots for 184-pin DDR SDRAM DIMM modules.
• Supports DDR 400/333/266.
• Supports a maximum memory size of 2GB for DDR400
• Supports a maximum memory size of 3GB for DDR333

Can anyone tell me my options...
So is the PC3200 DDR400 the best choice?
Can I use DoubleSided or Overclocking DDR?
I don't see where it says DualChannel so I'm assuming the MOBO doesn't support it.

Any input would be appreciated....
