scsi controller card question

Postby chip » Fri Oct 22, 2004 6:13 am

hi guys,
i have a new(should is say used) adaptec scsi raid controller given to me by my friend. I can only afford to buy on scsi hard drive. I dont intend to have a drive array. My question is, (since i will only have one disk), can i use my scsi raid controller as a normal scsi controller card for that single drive?

The simple answer is yes, you should be able to. RAID is optional. :)
