Fatal Error

Postby Livnetsrv » Fri Sep 05, 2003 8:42 am

When installing WinXP, has anyone gotten the 'NTLDR Fatal Error 250: Cannot read BOOT.INI'? The operating system is installed from a full version cd and activated, yet around every 30 days, the system kicks the above error, and had to be reinstalled. Does this sound like an activation issue, an evaluation copy issue, or a hardware issue?

Thanks in advance :-)

If your OS is legal and installed correctly, I would point the finger at a flakey HD. Try a different one and see if that helps.
